I am always delighted and sometimes ecstatic when I paint flowers. If music is the voice of Spirit, then flowers are the faces of Spirit. In terms of the energy/matter cusp I speak of in "Why I Paint", flowers can be great teachers to help us see the energetic vibrations of the material world. Perhaps that is one of the reasons they give us such joy.
